Presented by Pediatric Education Development Services (P.E.D.S)
As new parents or even those experienced, keeping up to date with life saving techniques for our new or aging family members can never be a bad idea. We are all super busy and often setting up dates for a CPR AED course are left on the forgotten table.
If May 26th is open on your calendar, come join us from 9am to 1pm
and become certified to save others.
Space is limited and is open to the first 10 people!
HEARTSAVER CPR AED is the gold standard in Canadian CPR training.
This is an official Heart & Stroke Foundation course.
Who is this course intended for?
For everyday Canadians who don’t have medical training but who want to learn how to help someone having a cardiac arrest or who are choking
Why is it important?
85% of cardiac arrests happen at home, in public places and workplaces. If you ever witness a cardiac arrest, it will likely involve a family member, or someone you work with or care about.
What will I learn?
Adult CPR with the use of AED
Child CPR with rescue breathing, and use of AED
Infant CPR with rescue breathing, and use of AED
Adult, child, infant choking relief techniques
**Although we will cover all age groups, this course will have an additional emphasis on child and infant CPR,as well as other common pediatric emergencies.
